This chart illustrates the comparative benefit of using Siam Novas technology to increase the ratio of female to male calves from 50:50 to 75:25 - 85:15.
Technical Aspects: By nature, the ratio of female calves is 50:50. Chromosome X (X-bearing spermatozoa) determines female and chromosome Y (Y-bearing spermatozoa) generates the male. Siam Novas innovation improve the separation of the X-bearing spermatozoa from the intact semen . Throughout this process, we can acheive the percentage of female offspring to 75 -85 %.
